but I did catch highlights tonite on CNN's Hillary celebration. I see the Democrats in attendance there in Las Vegas (city voted most likely to be hit first in the oil and water shocks shortly to come) booed Edwards for mentioning that Hillary is taking money from lobbyists.

Umm,

JUST SAYIN'

The audience was stacked... AFSCME had supported Hil and sent the members in to cheer a "centerist" Democrat so that Federal, State, County, and Municipal employees might gain favor at the public trough. People who don't know shit and union activists who earn shit (even in comparison to Ironworkers Business Agents) were trained on the real politik of back scratching. They soberly considered their options and acted with what some may call cynical, but others understand to be a wise assessment of electoral outcomes and immediate needs.

They thus, in a very realistic way, became traitors to their class... not because they should have supported this or that other bozo, but because, understanding just a little bit more than the people around them, they used their knowledge to push back the fortunes of their brothers and sisters rather than to advance them. It was a small thing - to involve themselves in the petty election manipulation of political slugs, and it will largely be missed. To the infinitely stupid products of middle class confusion and soullessness, the entire act will be invisible... except, perhaps, through an infantile fury at AFSCME's backing of the "wrong horse". But the crime stands, because every single member involved in that charade knew better - 100,000 times better - than every blogger and Markos and dickhead in the "lefty movement" - and they went for it anyway.

I hope their fuckin' heads explode...
