" As you may or may not be aware of, the Frente Amplio (Broad Front) Party has won again in Presidential elections this last weekend in Uruguay.The winner José "Pepe" Mujica, a flower farmer and ex Tupamaro rebel from the Operation Condor days in South America has won. This is an especially sweet victory for a resistance fighter who spent 14 years in fascist political prisons, mostly in the "hole" in isolation as special torture for his position in the resistance group."
