Do you think this is mostly a sound bite, or you do you think there might be some meat here? While its high on rhetorical content, I think the actual "talk" is still pretty loose. But then either I don't know what Chavez means by "real socialism" or I do know, and find it off putting.

I just put it out there really. I'm not real sure about any of it...you are far better versed and knowledgeable about all of this than I am. The escalation of bases is an indication that the US is concerned about the leftward movement; that in itself gives this a little weight, maybe.
