Interesting to note that while "colored folk" were gaining their civil rights they were losing their land at record rates. This was quite orchestrated.

Well sure. I was talking about the fact that felons are stripped of their right to vote in -- how many states? Supposedly Florida -- under Crist -- was going to restore felon's right to vote but I'm not certain how that played out. Of course, there is also the many documented instances of purge lists and a bottomless toolbag of dirty tricks for keeping blacks away from the polls.

I've seen this firsthand in the form of fucking police roadblocks on election day, just as a tame example.
