I go over there every once in a while to look in on you and always end up wondering how you do it. There is almost nobody remaining over there of a left persuasion other than yourself. Ironically, the number of rants by Tinoire and others about "intolerant leftists" actually seems to have increased... despite the fact that there are no fucking "leftists". Maybe they are all about you.

I wouldn't say "stupid", though... Maybe "optimistic"?

We are the "un-sellers" and people are used to being sold something.

We don't try to destroy each other, but we don't pull punches. People don't know yet that there is any possible alternative to those two ways of behaving.

We are ahead of the times, but better ahead than behind.

Our strongest point is in depth discussions. I am thinking of doing a regular once a week invitation to people to discuss a specific subject. We can play with some new approaches in the coming year, and break out of the same old discussion board routine and try new things.
