Kerry won the EV by 303-219. Even assuming that Daley stuffed ballots in Chicago and there was no GOP fraud, he would have still won the election.

The fact is that Nixon would have gone ahead to contest, but he realized that would backfire since his campaign committed even more fraud. Nixon probably stole more votes than Daley in downstate IL. And of course, CA and FL which Nixon won by small margins.

Remember that millions of votes are uncounted in every election (70-80% Democratic minorities). There were six million net uncounted votes in 1968. I don't have the number for 1960, but assuming approximately 6 million, JFK had 4.5 and Nixon 1.5 million. So JFK won by over 3 million, not the 118,000 recorded.
