View Full Version : WTF? There be PRINCIPLES here?

Say it is so, Joe.

Just got TS'ed from DU at long last for refusing to stop advocating for the left.

DU, of course, is not a leftist board at all, but rather a liberal one, which is a horse of quite another color. But you all know that and I'm not here to talk about DU.

What strikes me is the fact that there actually appears to be a committed, fighting LEFT on this board. Amazing.

I'm thoroughly done with liberals and Democrats. Never was too comfortable with them, but I figured you gotta do what you gotta do.

I was wrong. You don't gotta do what you gotta do. You can do something else - and it's called having principles. I stayed home for the midterms and think I could get used to staying home. I've certainly gotten used to it in regard to capitalist employment, which I've proudly skipped for ten years now.

Anyway, good to be here.

This is the hard-ass commie board with a side of anarcho-nihilism. The serious 'tude place...

The softer, "we need us some pro-gress-ive-dem-o-crats but got banned from DU" board is Old Elm Tree.

Welcome aboard. Stay if you are comfie.

as Anax says, we have to make up for a generation and we've got to do it fast. The pace is slower here in terms of posting, but you will find substance. Just ask if you have any questions.

I don't need me any more pro-gress-ive-dem-o-crats. Had my fill of them.

But I'm at OET also and it's a nice place.

Have already read "about PI" and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Not voting isn't an answer, it simply does not matter. Voting in the capitalist club elections only get you capitalist club members elected - get it? So vote if you want to or masturbate - no difference except one is prolly more fun...

if the question is "How can you achieve the exact same effect as voting?"

but it's honest and people oriented in the only way that matters...

Power to the people,

an injury to one is an injury to all,

from each according to ability, to each according to need...

charity is a band aid on a gushing wound...

pick your side...ruling class, working class...

I think these might help define where this place is

Welcome.

What was the strategy, again?

What are we trying to do and how do we get there?

One day a student asked Taiga, "What is the most difficult part of painting?" Taiga answered, "The part of the paper where nothing is painted is the most difficult."

I'd imagine it was some type of blasphemy, yes. I wasn't given an explanation. I never labored under the illusion I was a DUer of "significance" who would merit such an investment of Skinner's time.

It was probably a combination of several OP's that got locked for not showing Obama or the liberals sufficient love.
