Obama To Send 3,000 Military Forces To Fight Ebola In West Africa. By Jim Kuhnhenn Sept. 16, 2014
Washington (AP) — "The Obama administration is ramping up its response to West Africa's Ebola crisis, preparing to assign 3,000 U.S. military personnel to the afflicted region to supply medical and logistical support to overwhelmed local health care systems and to boost the number of beds needed to isolate and treat victims of the epidemic."

Cuba is known the world over for its ability to train excellent doctors and nurses who can then go out to help other countries in need. Currently there are more than 50,000 Cuban-trained health workers in 66 countries.

Obama says he is sending 3000 troops to the area. Cuba sends doctors, the US sends troops...

As per CNN (http://www.cnn.com/interactive/2012/04/us/table.military.troops/): "The United States has active duty military troops stationed in nearly 150 countries." For some reason the list did not include South Korea, don't know why, but at Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_military_deployments) it says there are nearly 30,000 US troops in S. Korea. There are 70,000+ US troops in Afghanistan (higher than I thought, for some reason) and also almost a 70,000 in Kuwait. Why so many in Kuwait?

I can find zero examples of official US medical teams assigned to anywhere in the world.

The difference between imperialism and socialism is glaring...
