Well, one is a celebration of isolation, sadness, illusion, betrayal, powerlessness, confusion, and unchanging misfortune set to a recurring, almost monotonous tempo...

... and the other is an important musical genre.

"Derr Blues ist Derr Blues"

Why do (us) white people play the blues? Is it cuz they (we) can't figure out what their (our) own music is?

Perhaps white guys want to get laid so bad that they pretend to be black.

No wonder they don't have soul. It's not a genuine cultural expression (white people playing the blues).

And when I say "white", I mean "middle-class" or affluent white people.

Ah well...

If you think that the blues is color coded, then you don't know the blues...

Sorry. I guess I'm just sick of mainly white blues musicians getting recognition, while black ones are often ignored.

But that applies to everything, doesn't it?

More... He is one of the very few "white guys" who is actually white.

The rest of 'em are just normal brown and pink people with a certificate from the Social Insecurity Administration.

Him and brother Edgar used to play as 'The Fabulous Albino Brothers' in order to dodge record company obligations.

Growing up in east Texas albino he got the blues the old fashioned way.
