Mainstreet on the Move for Jobs and Immigration Reform!
Send off Rally for the DC Marchers
6:00 Friday March 19 Su Casa Hispanic Center 7036 Fairpark Ave.

Come support a pro-worker economic recovery and hear from workers on the
front lines of America's recession. Speakers Include:

Gary Gardner, IUE-CWA Representative, fighting to stop the Whirlpool plant
in Evansville, IN from moving to Mexico

Voces de la Frontera- Milwaukee Workers Center traveling across the region
presenting on job displacement and immigrant worker exploitation.

Also hear from local workers and community members gearing up to join the
100,000 marchers for Immigration reform in DC on March 21.

She/he may know me. My partner and I have run the silent auction at their annual dinner for a couple of years. I was friendly with the founder of the Coalition (buddygray) and am a close friend of his successor (georgine). I know her/his boss (josh) pretty well, and have worked with another staff member (amy) on a couple of day labor projects. I know the editor of the exceptional street paper "Streetvibes" published by the Coalition as well. Unfortunately, I don't think I know your friend, but she/he may know who I am.
