But my queer, liberal, uber-boujie landlord has been hassling me for my apparently missing rent check; it seems not to have made it off the base I'd been on at the time. Now on another base, I re-wrote the check and took it off base to mail.

Anyway, I texted him to let him know. Gawd forbid he be left fretting, in his million dollar manse, over the pittance I pay for my old ass place in the hood.

So he texts back "thanks," and then follows a bit later with "What are we going to do about Obama?" Being a millionaire, he is just fucking fine with Obama and probably hasn't the faintest idea who Donnie McClurkin is either.

Response:

"He is everthing I expected he would be. Nothing is likely to happen in my lifetime. It's like the 60's now. The 1860's. In Russia. Tick Tock MFers..."

Pearls before swank swine.

P-oinko

BTW, Fuck you Barack for your housing programs, most especially the help in moving out.

And Joe, you can truly and really FOAD for the "no space" between us and apartheid comments.

Goddamn, how can I ever mature into someone willing to work with liberals again? The commies I know in town do so with vigor. I find the prospect fruitless and repellent. Reckon it is a phase?

It gets better.

Expanded horizons and all that...

Trust me.

Where's been, buddy?

Liberal schmiberal, who's not these days? The question answers itself because all of the nice people are, and our calling card is that we're NOT nice people.

There'll be time enough for bible-thumping (or, well, Manifesto-thumping)

....ya better stop advocating anything.
...Or stating the facts in such a stark manner that the outcome might be that you are advocatin' somethin'.
...Or asking any questions which may lead to facts which when presented starkly could cause a person to think you might end up advocatin' something... at some point.

An exchange between cornermouse and myself:

If the good ol' USofA was flushed overnight the level of global violence would drop by factors of an extraordinary magnitude. Those who support the USA support violence be it tacitly or overtly, whether they are aware of it or not.

I disagree. I believe the world would perceive at least a power vacuum and there would be more violence as they attempted to advance the standing of their own country.

That's the same sort of heinous nonsense the defenders of continued occupation of Iraq by US stormtroopers use. It's also the same malicious lie that imperialists have been using for centuries. Just the beneath the surface of your sentiment is the mad logic of American Exceptionalism.

Forget the evidence here just go on your belief that the US is keeping the world calm, or at least as calm as can be expected amongst the ravaging savages I suppose.

In fact I'm inclined to think we are getting into some profoundly dark shit here and that the sentiments expressed above is also the echoing of the typical superior nature of these liberal assholes.

but to point out almost identical current conditions that could very well lead to the same results now is considered to be advocating violence? Man, these Liberals with their soft, little hands and their, mushy little brains are complete jelly-people, aren't they?

I am sorry, call me whatever you want, I just cannot stand listening to these American Exceptionalist, status quo-PEZ dispenser, shitheads for even a bit.

You can hear the whimper in their voices and the trembling in their lips. They are America-firsters and are no different, as far as I am concerned, than the religious right or war-mongering capitalists (they actually ARE war-mongering capitalists).

To keep going back to that place, you guys have a great deal more stamina and perseverance than I...
