Seems like fiddling while Rome burns. Weak threats to Democrats ain't impressing anyone, until they learn to respect the power of unions they will treat unions as their dogs and only militancy will change that.

For example, they might throw everything they got at the Trans Pacific trade agreement which is stealthily creeping up on us. Strikes, demonstrations, repurposing that money and ground support that was going to Dems for the effort. I wouldn't expect the effort to succeed but it would clear the air.

At this point any "fight", at all, would be a win. But when the leadership is made up of "feisty Cold War liberals", then Jesus, what can you do? Hell yeah, somebody, somewhere, just start fighting, throw down on somebody!
