Was not looking forward to it, and I was right. The liberal agenda was in full force and it was certainly a massive insult to Col. Gadaffi. The cultural, racist and misogynist crap was way over the top, I'd like to say that I get 'cutting edge humor' but often I don't. There were some moments, the cluelessness of the tv commentators was superb, but I would not recommend it.

But...

Perhaps you have seen mention of 'the speech'? Our 'hero' gives this speech to UN members and oil company reps in which he extols the benefits of dictatorship, and it left me slack jawed. It was a near perfect description of the dictatorship of capital, it coulda been lifted from these pages, say as a rejoinder it some whine about the DoP, I shit you not. I gotta get a copy of the transcript, to see if I was hearing things or reading too much into it. If I heard what I think I heard that sucker is gonna please few on the right or liberals either. It doesn't save the movie but was kinda remarkable in itself, mebbe we oughta copyright.
