Charles Smith is the one who gave the interview, who made perfect sense, and who made the CNN dweeb look like a fool. Rodman was so mad he couldn't string three words together. So why "The Progressive" would focus on Rodman and not on what the basketball exhibition was actually about says more about "The Progressive" than about anything else. Rodman was going to say something about how there are political prisoners in the US, too, millions of them, not to even mention Guantanamo and the dozens of black sites. It seemed that Rodman was going to say that with the way blacks are oppressed in the US, the US had no room to complain about any other country; but he switched it to the persecution that the ten basketball players would endure upon their return to the US. Like I said, Rodman was barely coherent, but Charles Smith was very articulate and handed the CNN twerp his ass.

One thing Rodman try to say was, 'What had the imprisoned Kenneth Bae done to get put in prison?' The CNN dork said that he didn't know because no charges had been published. Rodman did not have the gumption to then say that there are thousands of prisoners in the US who are imprisoned without charge. Where is the difference? McCain said that Rodman was an "idiot"...that is like Mr. Ed saying that Sea Biscuit is a horse...

According to Human Rights First. Org and CBS News the US has (counting only Bagram and Guantanamo) almost 800 prisoners held without charge. This does not include any of the numerous "black" detention sites that the US government runs in various places around the world.
