The KKE has significant experience which absolutely confirms the Leninist position about the link between imperialism as the highest stage of capitalism and opportunism in the labour movement, an issue which, of course, is not related merely to Greece but to all capitalist countries.

It is not a coincidence that the economic essence of imperialism, which is the monopoly with its characteristic features, is underestimated or put aside by the communist parties which have adhered to opportunism either before or mainly after the victory of counterrevolution in the socialist countries.
