I would be wary of this for now, especially as we may be in the midst of striking :!: and are trying to define the way this place runs and/or is controlled..

That site seems to be mostly about Ds&Rs and merchandising. It brings to fore something that has been bounced around previously to no conclusion, how wide a range of discussion is wanted vs attention to the goals we have. My first sentiment is "bring 'em on' but I can see that bogging us down. There's also the issue the collective, if we start taking on a bunch of new members the whole mission could be perverted, coincidently or by concerted effort. But we need to spread the word....

It occurs to me that this is superfically like the argument between commies & anarchist about hierarchy. Though by nature I lean to the anarchists I'm having trouble seeing how it would practically work. I really do hate hierarchy, only the unnatural kind, of course any hierarchy here would be 'natural' :) .I really do hate capitalism.(insert head-banging smiley) So at this point I am decidedly undecided.

I do want people to look at it. So I say let them link to us. Once they get here and see no banners or spam or merchandise they will hang out for the content.

BTW the link was broke when I clicked on it. Fact is, this whole money angle has been and remains badly handled.

I'll send u money just to forestall the issue till we get our shit together, but I think the donor link oughtta be taken down until we figger out and fill tha dependencies that must be handled until the money matters ar e dealt with more democratically. Anything else is insufficiently transparent.
