I did not see 60 Minutes last night, but this morning on the CBS morning show, they did a recap of a 60 Minutes piece from yesterday about the sarin gas attack in Syria in 2013. They repeated all of the same lies and misinformation that was disseminated two years ago and they are repeating it as fact. The Emperor must be planning a new assault on Syria.

One of the barbie dolls on the "news" program this morning ended the piece with, "Assad denies everything, but if the Syrian Army didn't do this, who did?" The other well-dressed ciphers all nodded gravely. The idea was, of course, that no one else had the capacity to do this thing, which is, in itself, a lie. I was completely disgusted and thought, 'Here we go again'.

Doncha know, these people are savages, civilized people must impose order. Their order. Political/economic necessities aside, the technology of the media requires more and more lies to feed the 'news cycle' and must constantly up the ante to compensate for the jaded, low attention span of the public which they have fostered. So we get babies thrown out of incubators and Gadaffi feeding viagra to his black African minions that they might rape more vigorously...ISIS much the same, they say these gory videos are for the purpose of recruiting and maybe they serve that purpose to some degree but the primary purpose is to scare/disgust the Western public into supporting imperialism. Gotta wonder where they go next when beheadings become passe(next week?) On second thought, I'd rather not know.
