Just trying to get a feel for this place, so I'll ask:

Is this loved, hated, or neither?

For the record, I have serious reservations about Moore myself, given that he's a multi-millionaire and also keeps insisting on trying to pimp Democrats.

Even so, I loved this movie.

Watched the movie with Moore himself, as it turns out. Good discussion afterward.

He does things with the local party. It isn't that big of an issue.

I don't know what difference it makes that he is a multi-millionaire. How would that matter in your view? Everyone has more money than someone. It is the way money is distributed, the social system that is the problem, it is not about good and bad individuals.

I don't know. I guess I am not looking for a guru and don't have much interest in the ongoing debate - over at Common Dreams for example - as to whether or not he has the "correct" views on 911 or the Democratic party. As a neighbor, he is better than most. I never have a problem talking to him, which is more than I can say for 90% of the people online. He probably has not been won over to the "the lunar landings were faked" ideas, either, nor that the Jews are behind the banking conspiracy and own the media. So he is no doubt a terrible "progressive." He is pro-Union. He is opposed to Capitalism. Not sure what else people are looking for.
