Congress just as I predicted (and with the absolute spit-in-our-faces treachery of an unrecorded voice vote) passed HR2640 last night, which based on all genuinely libertarian interpretations forcibly disarms anyone who has ANY official history of mental illness or even learning disability however minor, whether that person was ever institutionalized or not.

Though the effort was bipartisan -- with the Republicans very significantly revealing what first became apparent in post-Katrina New Orleans (that the GOP favors forcible civilian disarmament as fervently as the Democrats) -- the Democrats are already crowing that this alone (never mind the methodical RATPOD betrayal of the electorate on every other issue) is the ultimate fulfillment of the 2006 elections: again exactly as I predicted.

Thus the Ruling Class clears the way for the imposition of absolute tyranny, and thus too -- or so it would seem -- approximately 50 percent of the U.S. population is permanently disarmed.

I will have much more to say about this in the future as the real meaning of HR2640 unfolds, though it appears my initial analysis of what is occurring is exactly correct:
