A young Dalit woman somehow managed to go to college. Now she organises other Dalits-
totally awesome and inspiring.

At one point she is asked how the male Dalits take it. She says some of them used to criticize her and try to stop her. [not a "woman's role"].
She picked out the worst offender and "I slapped him back and forth in the face a couple of times" and now the men support her.
She says, "Now they know this woman has guts".
indeed.
