look, nobodys gonna go vegetarian or recycle or become quakers or start drinking goats milk becuz of yr internet activity

as a matter of fact i started eating meat recently out of, uh, rich kid's guilt (nevermind that i am now poor as shit & barely make the rent) nevertheless i think & behave like a bourgeois. & so do you, with your retarded pleas for vegetarianism. fuck that shit, people eat to survive - in terms of survival, food is not an extension of moral culpability outside of cannibalism

vegetarianism is about as detached-bourgeois-liberal-scum as it gets in this culture, even more than voicing ones political opinions on the fucking internet

Well, the presentation is very nice.

Save the cows for what, Forth of July cookout? I can go along with that, all things in moderation. As a half assed when I feel like it primitivists I'm very big on a balanced diet: cows, pigs, fuzzy lambs, rabbits, squirrels, bambis, doves, woodcock, quail, chickens, ducks, turkeys, greasy geese, mice, crickets, mealworms, crabs, oysters, clams, bream, rock fish, piranah, olives, garlic, chiles, tomatoes, avacados and fungus. It's all good.

Foodshed for Thought

Eat Locally!
Welcome to Locavores:

We are a group of concerned culinary adventurers who are making an effort to eat only foods grown or harvested within a 100 mile radius of San Francisco for an entire month. We recognize that the choices we make about what foods we choose to eat are important politically, environmentally, economically, and healthfully. In 2005, we challenged people from the bay area (and all over the world) to eat within a 100 mile radius of their home for the month of August.

In 2007 we extended that challenge to the month of September . We encouraged folks to try canning and preserving food for the wintertime. We hope you're enjoying your homemade creations.

If you were talking to me you have jumped way to high to your conclusions, in no way was I advocating vegetarianism.

INSECTS ARE ANIMALS!!!!!! In case you didn't know

Now tell me again just WHO is retarded?

I'll give you a hint raising cows for food is the most wasteful use of water on the planet

We need to get our protein from poultry or fish farming rather than beef or pork, much more efficient use of grain

people eat to survive, yea they also need to drink water and it's running low, maybe you've noticed but then again with your head up your ass I guess it would be hard to see anything, ingaging your brain before you start typing, it's a good thing

Did you know that growing 1kg of potatoes requires only 100 liters of water, whereas 1 kg of beef requires 13,000 liters.?

Just one other point - the cows were advoctating eating chickens, doesn't sound veggie to me. Maybe the sign was not big enough?

I try to get you guys to eat more fruit, but nooooo.

This always happens on the holidays. Try to get the family together for a nice time and everyone gets hammered and a food fight breaks out.

Absolutely. Don't forget the barley & hops.

Less cows? Fer sure, but I won't swear off my beef tartar entirely. That sort of rightous volunteerism ain't gonna do jack. Kneecapping ADM or putting Mickey D up against the wall, that's what needs being done.
