I've not really wanted to visit Europe until now.

I had to go to a funeral this morning. The guy was big in veteran circles and the whole VFW was out in force. US flags everywhere. All I could think about was how badly I want a Soviet Union flag. I'd probably get beaten up around here, but damned if I wouldn't stick it up in the front yard.

Same here, the Reb flags only came down after Obama got elected, fear of black helicopters I guess. Be interesting to see if they go back up.

Went through same some years ago, my friend brought a monkey home from 'Nam & died of it. The sham made my blood boil.
