That's what it comes down to, and while the results of these events do have some real differences depending on the outcome all results are within what the ruling class allows. The iron fist is always there, velvet glove or not. How would you like your imperialism, hard or soft?

Personalities and story lines are interesting. If we are going to admire people, and identify with them, could we at the very least expand the range of people we look at, and pay some attention to those who fought for the working class rather than merely those who represented the ruling class? Wouldn't that be more interesting?
