I have this little folding saw, I've had it forever. I have no idea where it came from or what it is for, although the theme of camping comes to mind. The blade is about 7" long and it folds into the plastic handle.

Can anyone tell me what it may be good for? I am stupid about tools and such. I have a hacksaw for metal but I'm hoping I may be able to use this one to cut wood (eg some low small tree branches that need to come down) but I really have no idea.

Thoughts?

and I'll update when I ask, but I think it is for cutting brush, and as you think a camp saw...but if you ever want to know about blades of any kind, he's the man to answer that...

As well. Handy for the back pocket/pack. Any blade or weapon too, he'll pretty much know...

Good for trimming a trail or cleaning up a trapping site so the string don't get hung(turtle trap). For bigger jobs a bow saw.

I think we have one, but it's old and green, and I didn't know what it was called...unless M gave it to his brother...
