The difference between Bush and Obama is like the difference between Republicans and Democrats, or the difference between conservatives and liberals, or the difference between Old Money and New Money.

Bush: inherited wealth, a scion of an old family invested in traditionally "conservative Republican" businesses like banking, oil, energy, intelligence networks, and war profiteering.

Obama: a new-generation Ivy League yuppie, someone who carries water for and promotes the ruling class but isn't really a member per se in the traditional, an upscale professional whose history has involved being a "community organizer," a "Constitutional scholar", and other more traditionally "liberal" occupations.

There are differences here that should be noted, but the core values-of wealth, power, and control, and of defending the ruling class-are the same.
