It's interesting to go around and receive and/or hear in many quarters, and especially from the lib/prog sector, how it is that "the left" or "socialism" or "Marxism" have been complete failures and have nothing to show for all of the lofty ideals and theories that are being discussed by the "unrealistic" folks who insist on arguing for these antiquated notions.

Funny to me how so much detail is omitted as to how these leftists have "failed"- such things as economic strangulation, COINTELPRO, assassinations, blowing up of entire nations, infiltration, CIA-NED-NSA-ETC., and numerous other "minor" intrusions that demonstrate there have been no failings in so much as there has been an all out, non-stop attack against any and all leftists. It has been done quite simply and primarily by force.

But that's not what I'm thinking about here primarily. What I'm wondering is how is it that outside of a few privileged enclaves (and that alone should tell you what a dismal failure all of it is) that all attempts by the liberal/progressive class have been complete failures- all of it- the entire roster.

Why Has NONE Of This Worked:

Getting Out The Vote- Being the change you wish to see- "Going Green"- Civil Rights- Diversity- Going Organic- "Lesser Evilism"- Vegetarianism- Raising Consciousness- Exhuming The Kennedy's- Love-Ins- Teach-Ins- "Personal Choice"- Mid-Term Elections- Diversity- Gay Rights- Nader- Dropping Out- Reform of any sort- EcoVillages- Hope and Change- Self Help Movement- Thinking Globally- Acting Locally- Coalition Building- Camelot- Levitating the Pentagon- Writing letters to the editor- Raising Awareness- The Democratic Process- Calls for Justice- Porchfest- Veganism- The Clintons- Recycling- Presidential Elections- Anti-War Protests- Petitions to Congress- Feeling the Bern- "Education is the answer"- Building consensus- Buying Local

With that vast menu of progressive actions how is it that there is so little to nothing to show for it. There are no bombings in Fall Creek or Ashland or Amherst and little to no infiltration yet why is it we are not seeing residual effects from all of these glorious notions spread throughout the land and improve the lives of people across the country.

Liberals/progressives have failed at all - ALL - of their declared goals and targets, yet have succeeded wondrously at their actual intentions - sandbagging the "left". "Progressives" "American leftists" have undermined every true left agenda item you can name. They are the vanguard of the enemies of working peoples everywhere.
