Can't say i'm at all surprised by this; it was just a matter of time before the Taliban wore out its welcome in Pakistan, and it seems what time they had has run out. And their sponsors in the ISI are powerless to stop the tide of public opinion from turning. The US would do well to study the Pakistani Army's tactics here, which appear to be quite successful, starting with limiting civilian casualties.
