We are scheduled for a face to face with the county sheriff tommorrow calling for an indefinite moratorium on sheriff's sales. Please forward to as many lists as possible. More new people came to this meeting and the phones are starting to ring, I feel the mommentum building on this!

A little background, one of my study group is on a listserve for nw Ohio, and asked for more info after receiving this:


Tonight at the Mott Branch library, 1085 Dorr St starting at 5Pm -7PM. If you know anyone facing foreclosure and or eviction please come. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR HOME!!!!
We will be discussing strategies for fighting evictions, calling for moratoriums and housing the homeless. We are looking for volunteers to write letters, make phone calls, make and hold signs, and block evictions.
