It seems there are bits and pieces scattered all over the place that keep folks busy bending over picking up these little bits, but the folk are not quite ever able to keep pace with the giant who keeps scattering the pieces about...when looking up and seeing the giant and smashing his hand, which holds the scattered pieces, would be the logical solution.

JFK assassination

Restoring Democracy

Return to The Constitution

Going Green

Regulating Capitalism

Hope

9/11 Trials

The Reagan Legacy

Abolishing the CIA

BFEE

A new New Deal

...

Scattered pieces that keep the folk looking down

It's not so hard to look up. Take a look. Smash that hand. No more scattered pieces.

Your question is phrased that simply.

The details of what a "revolution" is and whether it is possible, notwithstanding... these issues are only on the table once we deal with "restoration".

Did a previous era of democracy, prosperity or justice ever really exist?

How real was it if it did and was it more promise than reality?

Did it disappear through an act or series of acts, rather than by a change of the underlying conditions?

Is restoration possible through any or all of the "objects" above?

Do the underlying conditions for restoration exist?

The questions above answer the practicality of the "Far Left" or Revolutionary path. If that is all that is possible, then the issue turns, not to calculating the odds, but to trying to improve them.
