Political Heretic

I wanted to check in. Here's the simple breakdown:
I was unbelievably, catastrophically wrong in my decision to vote for Barack Obama, and in my fixation on voting in a national election in the first place. And I was wrong to place any hope into one of these two political parties, even for minor positive changes.
I had more than enough information and warning in advance, which I ignored. Before I ever posted here there was Chlamor, tirelessly delivering inconvenient truth all over the internet. I of course ridiculed and insulted more than I engaged in any honest exchange, along with PFC lackeys (back in the day.)
Then there were countless others, carefully and meticulously detailing the folly and digusting nature of our American political economy. Which I ignored.
I was arrogant and rude in my certainty, and condescending in lecturing others about style and method of delivery - when my own style and methods were regularly insulting.
I offer no explanation or justification - no twelve page long rationale. All I can tell you is that the fragmented pieces of truth that were swimming around in my head on sea of ingrained propaganda and institutionalized thinking finally coalesced into something concrete. Now I see the simplicity: workers or rulers - pick a side.
Please - accept my sincere apology. I feel very humbled now, but with my eyes finally fully open.
