Seems to me that with this whole Trump-Russia thing and the Mueller investigation, Mike Pence or whoever else waiting in the wings, the CIA, the FBI and the rest of the US Intelligence/Surveillance/Law Enforcement Apparatus (Protectors of Capital) along wit the Generals in the Pentagon and the White House (Kelly, McMaster, Mattis, etc.)keeping a hawkishly close eye on all of this, the continued empowerment of the most aggressively "illiberal" sectors of Capital (read: We're not fucking around, we're REALLY gonna fuck you proles and poors over, especially but not exclusively women, children, immigrants, and black and brown people - and this time, for good...), the huge rift between Trump and his people and the still-hegemonic (for now...?) US Foreign Policy Establishment, the big divides within the US government on account of ghost ship bureaucracies (Trump's utter laziness in replacing the Obama appointees - most of whom have up and left), the Obama, Clinton, and DNC crowds steering the "Resistance" in their own direction, the Republican "Establishment" (Ryan, McConnell, et.al) and ALL of the various sectors of Capital having their own narrow, immediate, short-term agendas, often correlated with one another but often stepping on each other's toes as well....and of course, "The Donald" himself, and yeah, the Bannon/Breitbart and the Nazi crowd, being factored into all of this...

What the fuck is going on? Is there any method to any of this madness? Is this a legitimately serious and potentially even existential power struggle within the American State - which if I'm not mistaken, is still the largest, most influential, and most steadfast protector of Capital and Empire on a global scale? What should we make of all of this - if anything?

All of this is pretty rough and disorganized on my part...sign of the times, I suppose.

Suspect we are far from 'there' and things will, gotta, get worse, there ain't nothing in view that could make things any better. The Donald is a blip on the radar, somebody was asleep at the switch for him to be allowed to win. He ain't that much worse than Hil, or Bernie would have been. Only big difference I see is his campaign against science and the environment. And even that damage must be viewed in the light that not a lot, not nearly enough, was actually being done, the Dems all talk. Most of the conventional criticism of Trump focuses upon demeanor, and that's really all they're pissed off about cause everything else about Trump is American as The Trail of Tears. He is the very avatar of the ruling class, the naked greed,
and arrogance, the ignorance fostered by a money cocoon. They hate the nakedness.
