US Occupation Installs Oil Refinery in Rmelan Fields, Hasaka Countryside
January 14, 2022

Hasaka, SANA – The US occupation forces and the separatist QSD militia installed an oil refinery in Rmelan fields in Hasaka north eastern, in parallel with stealing dozens of tankers laden with oil and transferring them to Iraqi territories.

A source at Directorate of Rmelan fields told SANA that the oil refinery has a capacity to refine 3,000 barrels per day.

The source added that in the upcoming weeks and months will witness a large increase in stealing and looting the Syrian oil from al-Jazeera region by the US occupation and the QSD militia after installing the refinery.

In the same context, local sources said that the US occupation forces brought out on Saturday evening a convoy of 79 vehicles, including tankers loaded with stolen Syrian oil, refrigerators, and a number of trucks, accompanied by four military vehicles, heading to the northern Iraq via the illegal crossings.

Hasaka, SANA- SANA reporter said that the citizens of Salhiyeh Harb village in Qamishli countryside, with the help of the Syrian Arab Army, expelled a convoy for the US forces which tried to enter the village.

On January 8th, a Syrian Arab Army checkpoint intercepted a US convoy of military vehicles in Tal Tamir town, Hasaka northwestern countryside, and forced it to leave the area.

More 'forgotten' war crimes, like the US needs the oil. This is about denying Syria the oil, purely punitive and outright theft.

U.S Bombing Continues in Syria

Image
The U.S continued bombing Syria. Jan. 25, 2022. | Photo: Twitter/@_Raleigh_NC

Published 25 January 2022 (14 hours 39 minutes ago)

On Tuesday, the SANA news agency reported that U.S forces continued bombing Syria's northeastern Hasakah province.

On Tuesday, the SANA news agency reported that the U.S forces kept their bombardment as part of their alleged manhunt of Islamic State (IS) fugitives on Syria's northeastern Hasakah Province's establishments.

According to SANA, U.S. forces are using the pretext of hunting down IS militants who fled the prison, for shelling buildings and public institutions near the Sina'a prison in the Gweiran neighborhood in Hasakah.

Alongside the ongoing shelling came waves of raids by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to homes in the surrounding areas, compromising many civilians and taking them to unknown locations in the area.

Last January 20, IS prisoners started disturbances inside the Sina'a prison controlled by the SDF, coordinated with IS militants from outside, who blew up the prison's gates with two booby-trapped vehicles and proceeded to free some prisoners.

The incident led to conflicts between IS and the SDF, and which led to U.S. airstrikes around the areas where the IS fugitives could be hiding.

As SDF has failed at containing the situation in the area, the clashes and airstrikes are still ongoing. After the report of several casualties, the Syrian Foreign Ministry has condemned the U.S. airstrikes.

Hasaka, SANA- The US occupation forces destroyed more buildings and facilities in the vicinity of the Industrial Secondary School Prison in Hasaka city.

SANA reporter in Hasaka said that for the fifth day in a row, the clashes continues between the US occupation forces-backed QSD militia and the fugitives from the Industrial Secondary Prison under the pretext of pursuing fugitives from the Prison and claims that they are holed up in the buildings surrounding it.

Meanwhile the US aircrafts bombed a number of the residential buildings surrounding the prison in the city, including buildings of Economy College, and Civil Engineering, in addition to a number of houses in al-Zouhour neighborhood.

The reporter added that QSD militia have launched raid campaigns in Ghwairan Sharqi and Gharbi and al-Zouhour neighborhood since Monday evening, and kidnapped a number of civilians taking them to unknown destination.

The reporter, quoting local sources, reported the failure of the QSD militia to regain control of the prison after several attempts to storm it with tanks and Bradley vehicles of the American occupation.

US occupation continues plundering Syrian oil from al-Jazeera region

Image

26 January، 2022

Hasaka, SANA- Over the past hours, the US occupation forces continued to plunder the Syrian oil as a convoy of tankers laden with stolen Syrian oil headed for northern Iraq.

“130 tankers laden with crude oil stolen from the Syrian oilfields by the US occupation troops in cooperation with QSD militia leaved al-Jazeera region heading for the Iraqi village of al-Mahmoudiya, south of the illegitimate al-Waleed crossing,” local sources from al-Yarubiya area, Hasaka countryside, told SANA reporter.

The stolen oil was transferred through a corridor opened previously by the US occupation forces towards al-Mahmoudiya village to allow dozens of trucks, carrying smuggled goods affiliated with QSD militia enter the Syrian al-Jazeera region via al-Waleed crossing, the sources added.

Hours after the tankers convoy left, a convoy of 46 refrigerated tankers, a truck and a carrier laden with US logistical materials entered Syrian territory via the same crossing, according to the sources.

Successful!

The years long arming and nurturing of radical Islamist by the CIA was 'successful'.

The creation of an al-Qaeda infested area in north-west Syria was 'successful'.

To arrange protection of that area from Syrian and Russian forces by NATO member Turkey was 'successful'.

Providing housing for the first ISIS leader in Barisha, 5 km form the Turkish border, was 'successful'.

Providing housing for the second ISIS leader in Atmeh, 2 km form the Turkish border, was 'successful'.

The two and a half hour long firefight during yesterday's raid in Atmeh was 'successful'.

The killing of six children, four women and at least three men during the raid was 'successful'.

The mechanical damage (friendly fire?) on one U.S. helicopter was 'successful'.

The complete destruction of said helicopter by bombing it was 'successful'.

The killing of one ISIS honcho Mohamad Saeed Abdul Rahman aka Abdalla Kardas aka Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Quraishi was 'successful'.

The ongoing creation of more ISIS honchos at the U.S. base at the al-Tanf border crossing between Syria and Iraq will be 'successful'.

So much success.

The leaders of Russia and China must shiver with fear when they recognized that their opponent is so very 'successful'.

Daesh Suffers Severe Blow in Northeastern Syria: 350 Dead

Image
374 Daesh, 187 PKK & YPG Terrorist Organization members were killed in the Daesh rebellion in Haseke Prison in northeastern Syria. Around 400 Daesh militants deserted, location unknown. | Photo: Twitter @AbdullahManaz

Published 4 February 2022 (13 hours 20 minutes ago)

Syria has criticized the crimes of U.S. forces and the Kurdish militia it supports in Al-Hasaka and has called for the departure of U.S. troops.

At least 350 members of the Daesh (Islamic State) terrorist group were killed after their failed attempt to escape from a prison in Syria's northeastern province of Al-Hasaka.

The Security Media Cell, linked to the Iraqi security forces, highlighted on Thursday the operations carried out by the Iraqi Joint Operations Command, dealing with the attempted escape of the terrorists imprisoned in Qwayran prison, controlled by the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), in Al-Hasaka.

According to the information provided by the said command via a statement, the security units immediately started taking the necessary measures to ensure full security of Iraq's borders near al-Hasaka. The statement said that some 350 terrorists were killed and that the number of victims is expected to rise once the investigation is completed.

Syria has criticized the crimes of U.S. forces and the Kurdish militia it supports in Al-Hasaka and has called for the departure of U.S. troops.

Currently, approximately 3900 of the terrorists - out of a total of 4400, according to Iraq's Joint Operations Command figures - are being held in a new prison, and another 100 wounded are in hospital.

Sources report that following the recent clashes in the aforementioned detention center between Daesh fighters and the SDF, several terrorists managed to escape, taking advantage of the air cover provided by reconnaissance planes belonging to the U.S. "coalition".

In fact, the Russian news agency Sputnik, citing sources familiar with the matter, reported last week how U.S. troops assisted the escape of 750 terrorists from Qwayran.

Damascus, for its part, has revealed that what happened in Qwayran prison was an attempt by Washington to give new life to Daesh and have an argument to justify its occupation, at a time when voices are rising demanding its departure from Syrian territory.

As a result of the attack, not yet claimed by any group, five powerful explosions shook the military compound, the Russian news agency Sputnik reported in Arabic, citing local sources.

A U.S.-occupied military base in the eastern Syrian province of Deir Ezzor has been targeted by a drone and missile attack.

Local media reported that the offensive targeted the U.S. military base located near the Al-Omar oil field in Deir Ezzor on Wednesday evening (local time).

As a result of the attack, not yet claimed by any group, five powerful explosions shook the military compound, the Russian news agency Sputnik reported in Arabic, citing local sources.

It also noted that numerous U.S. drones flew over the area immediately after the explosions.

Despite the resounding rejection by the Damascus government of the illegal U.S. presence in the Levant country, Washington has been expanding its contingent in the east and northeast of the country, under the pretext of “protecting” the oil areas from terrorist groups, but, in reality, what it seeks is to extract crude oil, gas and natural resources, Syria has repeatedly denounced.

Assad in the UAE

Image

Significant event.

Assad made his first state visit since 2011 (apart from trips to Russia and Iran).
In the UAE, Assad held talks on further normalizing relations with a country that sponsored terrorists in Syria for several years, threatened Syria with intervention, but then changed its shoes. Last year, the UAE already opened a diplomatic mission in Damascus and supported the idea of returning Syria to the League of Arab States (Assad does not want to ask himself, he wants the Arab League itself to offer him to return).
The main message of the meeting is that the UAE calls for the withdrawal of all foreign troops from Syria that are there illegally.
At the same time, only the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and Iranian "ihtamnets" from the IRGC with a horde of Shiite proxies are legally in Syria.

US Reinforces Illegal Bases in Syria After Increased Attacks

Image
The US illegal occupation currently has more than 12 bases in Syria, most of them are coincidentally located in the oil producing regions. | Photo: Twitter @Filomen03258997

Published 9 April 2022

The United States maintains nearly a dozen illegal bases in the oil and gas fields without the approval of Syrian legitimate authorities.

Two military convoys with logistic material arrived on Friday at two bases illegally established by the United States in the oil and gas fields in the Syrian province of Deir Ezzor.

The two convoys are made up of dozens of trucks laden with large quantities of weapons, ammunition and logistical material, and arrived at the Pentagon’s enclaves in the oil and gas fields of Konico and Al-Omar, according to local activists, who were quoted by local media.

They attributed these reinforcements to increased popular protests against U.S. troops and rockets launched against their bases. The U.S. forces acknowledged that a rocket attack on the al-Omar base injured two soldiers on Thursday.

The U.S. occupation currently has more than 12 bases in Syria, most of them coincidentally located in the oil producing regions. The government of Syria has accused the U.S. of using its occupation to plunder oil and food crops such as wheat.

Syria has repeatedly stated that the presence of these illegal forces on its territory encourages and sustains the existence of armed groups that are responsible for the nearly 11-year long armed insurgence. The U.S. government denies these accusations and insists that its troops are in the region to stop ISIS from taking over the oil fields.

https://www.telesurenglish.net/news/US- ... -0003.html

The US explanation for this punitive piracy is laughably thin given that ISIS is a US proxy.

The UN Must Investigate Allegations of Atrocities by US-Led Forces in Syria
Posted by INTERNATIONALIST 360° on APRIL 21, 2022
Bradley Blankenship

Image

If any ‘rules-based world order’ is to be preserved, the rules must apply to everyone

As we can all admit, the international order is falling into disarray, and a formal inquiry into allegations of atrocities committed by the United States in Syria must be a prerequisite to upholding international law.

According to a Tuesday report by Press TV, the Syrian government has sent letters to UN officials asking for such a formal investigation into alleged atrocities committed by the US-led coalition in the city of Raqqa.

“The time has come to shed light on the humanitarian, political, and legal aspects of the matter,” Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote in two identical messages, addressed to UN Secretary General António Guterres and to the rotating president of the UN Security Council, Barbara Woodward.

The ministry noted that virtually the entire city was razed by US bombing runs that took place between June and October 2017, resulting in thousands of civilian deaths.

As the Associated Press reported at the time, the devastation of that city raised serious questions about “the cost of victory.” AP even flew a drone through Raqqa to highlight the extent of the damage, which had left the once flourishing city little more than a skeleton. That footage was, by any account, truly disturbing.

“More than 80 percent of the city (Raqqa) is estimated to be uninhabitable as a result of the fighting,” Linda Tom, a Damascus-based official with the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) told the Century Foundation’s Aron Lund at the time.

The report by the Syrian side also noted several other examples of similar alleged atrocities by US-led forces, such as in northeastern Syria, between 2018 and 2019, in operations fronted by the US and so-called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). It noted a particular instance in Baghuz when US fighter jets reportedly killed at least 70 civilians, including women and children, fleeing clashes.

There is certainly a lot to digest in America’s role in Syria. The years have illuminated countless credible accusations of war crimes and other atrocities by US-allied bombings and military personnel on the ground, as well as by their various proxies.

There’s also the fact that America’s presence in Syria, which is without the consent of the UN-recognized Syrian government, is a clear violation of elementary international law – and its role in interfering in the country clearly violates international laws regarding non-intervention and crimes against peace.

But what took place at Raqqa must be seriously and impartially investigated if indeed the UN and international law are to mean anything at all. The situation, and the virtual media blackout about it in the Western press, at least in terms of the extent of what the Americans did there, highlight clear double standards that undermine the principles of multilateralism and international law altogether.

It’s not hard to see how repeated violations of international law, including international humanitarian law, the laws of war and basic laws about interference in sovereign countries create an inherently chaotic world order. The United States talks all the time about the “rules-based world order” while continually and deliberately ignoring rules.

The situation in Ukraine stands as a case in point. For example, I am of the opinion that Russia’s incursion into Ukraine is a clear and easily identifiable violation of international law. However, the law is already proven meaningless when the United States continually violates international law.

The prospect of a formally Western-aligned Ukraine was one of Russia’s primary national security concerns prior to the initiation of the “special operation,” and America’s actions prove that this threat is more than hypothetical.

We can also see that failing to hold perpetrators accountable leads to more instances of criminal activity. Since Raqqa, the US has been credibly accused of committing a host of war crimes in places such as, again, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and other places.

The operation in Raqqa also followed in the wake of a bloodbath operation in the Iraqi city of Mosul by the US-led coalition, which was even fraught with accusations of war crimes by Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International.

The US claims that it has internal mechanisms to compensate victims of its “collateral damage” or to reprimand those responsible for wrongdoing, but this is bunk. Recall that the US just got done conducting an internal review in November 2021 of a drone bombing in Kabul that killed 10 civilians, including seven children, some months earlier. It found that no misconduct or negligence took place and thus recommended no disciplinary action – which is a complete mockery of the laws of war, and of victims.

Here’s another notable example. In Mosul, one US Navy SEAL, Special Operations Chief Edward Gallagher, committed such terrible acts that he was outed by his fellow soldiers for indiscriminately shooting civilians and even stabbing to death a captured ISIS soldier who was estimated to be 15 years old. He was later pardoned by then-President Donald Trump for these acts – oh, and he also imposed sanctions on members of the International Criminal Court who were investigating US soldiers for war crimes, though these were lifted in April of last year.

We must all be able to admit that entire cities being razed without consideration for civilian infrastructure or the lives of non-combatants, in some sort of strategy akin to Dresden in World War II, is unacceptable – as are attempts to downplay it. The UN must take the allegations of atrocities in Raqqa seriously if it wants to maintain its legitimacy as an institution and ensure that international law has any serious meaning in today’s world.

Syria Pledges Due Response to Israel, Turkey, US Attacks

Image
SANA news agency reported that four Syrian soldiers were killed and three others were wounded as a result of an Israeli attack on the outskirts of Damascus on Wednesday. | Photo: Twitter @MayadeenEnglish

Published 28 April 2022 (1 hours 24 minutes ago)

Syria warns at the UN and the UNSC that it reserves the right to respond to Israeli, Turkish and U.S. aggressions against its territory and citizens.

In a letter addressed both to the Secretary General of the United Nations (UN), Antonio Guterres, and to the President of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has denounced the attack early Wednesday morning by the Israeli regime against the vicinity of Damascus (Syrian capital), which left four people dead and three wounded among the Syrian military, in addition to material damage.

According to the official news agency SANA, the Syrian Foreign Ministry denounced the attack as a "flagrant and cowardly aggression" and called on the UN and the UNSC to "condemn the Israeli crimes and demand their cessation and respect [for] the relevant Security Council resolutions".

The attack "coincided with the continuous attacks perpetrated by the occupying forces of the United States and Turkey against Syrian citizens and the Syrian territories," he stressed.

According to the missive, these acts of aggression are also carried out "in support of terrorist groups" in order to "prolong the war in Syria."

"The Syrian Arab Republic condemns this blatant aggression and other Turkish and U.S. acts of aggression, and reserves the right to respond by appropriate means and endorsed by international law and the United Nations Charter," it stressed.

The Syrian government denounces that the Tel Aviv regime's bombings seek to support terrorist operatives active in Syria, at a time when Damascus is still striving to restore security and stability after years of conflict.

Washington Moves to Annex North-East Syria by Proxy
May 20, 2022
By Vanessa Beeley – May 16, 2022

Under cover of media focus on the NATO proxy war in Ukraine and the Zionist assassination of Al Jazeera senior correspondent Shireen AbuAkleh, Washington is making moves to annex Syrian territory.

On May 11th during the meeting of the “global coalition against Islamic State” in Marrakech, Morocco the U.S acting assistant Secretary of State, Victoria Nuland, made an extraordinary move that has largely gone under the radar of even independent media. Everyone is distracted by events in Ukraine and the Palestinian Occupied Territories.

Nuland who famously exclaimed “Fuck the EU” during recorded conversations that exposed the US State Department involvement in the 2014 coup in Ukraine and the subsequent massacre in Odessa by the Washington’s Nazi Contras is now turning her attention to Syria’s north-eastern territory.

Nuland has announced that the US will allow foreign investment in north-east Syria under the control of the Kurdish Separatists, another US Coaliton proxy in Syria. These investments will not be affected by the unprecedented sanctions that are effectively blockading Syria.

The most savage of these economic measures were introduced under the Trump administration – the Caesar sanctions that are designed to inhibit any external assistance for Syria from within the Syrian alliance, including Russia and Iran.

The Caesar Syrian Civilian Protection Act is also fraudulent by claiming to “protect civilians”. In reality, it is punishes and hurts the vast majority of 17 million persons living in Syria. It will result in thousands of civilians suffering and dying needlessly. – Rick Sterling

Needless to say that the de-facto unilateral sanctions being applied as a collective punishment for the entire Syrian population living in areas protected by the Syrian government are illegal. To extend those sanctions to sovereign nations providing assistance to rebuild Syrian infrastructure is barbaric and a deliberate attempt by the US to ensure that Syria cannot recover from the eleven year war waged against it.

The correlation between economic and military coercion in Syria was made clear by previous Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo’s point-man on Syria, Ambassador James Jeffrey, who not only described Al Qaeda as a “US asset” in Syria but also bragged openly about the misery that sanctions had brought to the Syrian people:

And of course, we’ve ratcheted up the isolation and sanctions pressure on Assad, we’ve held the line on no reconstruction assistance, and the country’s desperate for it. You see what’s happened to the Syrian pound, you see what’s happened to the entire economy. So, it’s been a very effective strategy….

Journalist Rick Sterling also pointed out the illegality and brutality of the Caesar sanctions:

The US has multiple goals. One goal is to prevent Syria from recovering. Another goal is to prolong the conflict and damage those countries who have assisted Syria. With consummate cynicism and amorality, the US Envoy for Syria James Jeffrey described his task: “My job is to make it a quagmire for the Russians.”

Nuland said Washington would issue a general licence, which frees companies from U.S. sanctions restrictions in north-east Syria.

“The United States intends in the next few days to issue a general license to facilitate private economic investment activity in non-regime held areas liberated from ISIS in Syria.”

The irony here of course is that ISIS is in reality another proxy of the US Coalition that had benefitted from the oil resource revenue prior to the occupation of the oil fields by the Kurdish Contras. There is also a degree of collaboration mired in corruption between the Kurdish Separatists and ISIS both focused on the ethnic cleansing of the north-east to make way for an “autonomous region” effectively controlled by Washington, London and Israel. As Syrian researcher, Ibrahim Wahdi, wrote back in February 2022:

We can clearly see that the largest organized smuggling and mass transfer of ISIS militants towards the Syrian Badia connected with the Iraqi border north of Al-Tanf region, which coincided with the Ukraine crisis and the negotiations of the Iranian nuclear deal, aims to trigger chaos by CIA and Israeli intelligence through reviving ISIS to keep it as a pretext for the US occupation of Syrian lands.

Nuland’s claims that investment in areas “previously held” by ISIS are “needed to prevent a resurgence of Islamic State by allowing it to recruit and exploit local grievances” is hypocrisy of the highest order. Washington and London are recruiting, arming and equipping ISIS terrorists and embedding their fighters in areas of the Badia desert (East of Homs) where they can do the most damage to Syrian Arab Army installations and convoys – this includes the disruption of the meagre oil supply to Damascus from the north-east. As Wahdi pointed out:

The danger of the ISIS card lies in the large numbers distributed among 9 prisons in the US-backed SDF-controlled areas, which are potential targets for similar attacks [to release ISIS terrorists], especially the “Kamba Al-Bulgar” prison, east of Al-Shaddadi city in the southern countryside of Hasaka, which includes 5,000 ISIS militants.

In addition to Al-Sina’a prisons, Al-Shaddadiyah, Derek/ Al-Malikiyah, Al-Kasra, Al-Raqqa Central Prison, Rmelan and Nafker in the Qamishli city, from which 60 ISIS militants were transferred to a prison in Al-Hasakah last September.

Both ISIS and the Kurdish Contras are responsible for the theft of oil from Syria. Al Qaeda has the monopoly of the processing of the stolen oil via its WATAD organisation. The US Coalition has a vested interest in bringing the Syrian population to its knees and to stir up dissent against the Syrian government that has trashed the Coalition military plans for regime change.

The war against Russia in Ukraine is also revenge for Russia’s role in genuinely fighting ISIS in Syria and forcing the terrorist entity to withdraw to the north-east and Iraq where it is equally responsible for the destruction of civilian infrastructure in particular electrical installations to further punish any Iraqi resistance to US occupation.

Nuland and Washington are deliberately enflaming local grievances and enabling ISIS recruitment and expansion.

Not only will these sanction-free licences apply to the Kurdish Contras but the Turkish backed militia occupying the northern border zones of Syria will also be included in the deal. This means that Syrian territory will be de-facto annexed by these NATO-member-state proxies including Al Qaeda (Turkey) and affiliates.

According to a diplomat who has discussed the issue extensively with U.S officials, the licence will apply to agriculture and reconstruction work but not to oil. I guess there is no need to include oil as that is already considered a U.S benefit of the war they started in 2011. After all Trump said very clearly “we’re keeping the oil – I’ve always said that — keep the oil. We want to keep the oil, $45 million a month. Keep the oil. We’ve secured the oil.”

If the licence will apply to reconstruction and agriculture, this will legitimise the building of settlements and the continued theft (by the Kurds) of Syrian agricultural produce in the region, the occupation of the wheat storage centers and the reduction in supply to Damascus of these essential resources. Essentially doubling down on the siege of the Syrian people who are already suffering severe food insecurity, poverty, fuel and energy deprivation on a terrible scale.

The act of withholding means of sustaining life to innocent civilians in order to coerce an entire nation into submission to foreign agendas in the region must surely qualify as economic terrorism. The destruction of essential civilian infrastructure is a war crime, the withholding of essential resources or occupation of those resources is also a war crime. One could argue that the US Coalition is responsible for genocide in Syria under Genocide Convention article II (e) – deliberately inflicting on the group, conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part”.

When Washington talks about “stabilisation” activities in the areas its “allies” took from Islamic State they are lying. Its “allies” are being led to believe they will benefit from cooperation with the U.S. In reality they are useful tools to facilitate the U.S and Israeli agenda in the region – to balkanise Syria and above all to secure the illegal US Al Tanf military base in the south-east (bordering Jordan) to prevent the linking of the Resistance Axis from Iran to Lebanon and ultimately Palestine. To protect “Israeli security” in the region.

The organised smuggling and transfer of ISIS terrorists towards the Syrian Badia connected with the Iraqi border north of Al Tanf is to maintain the CIA/MI6/Israeli chaos strategy in Syria and to justify US occupation of Syrian territory under the faux ISIS pretext.

What Nuland is proposing is a step forward for Washington in the annexation of Syria’s most resource rich territory. It is annexation by proxy. Turkey will also benefit from these licence schemes and will further embed its Al Qaeda-led militia in the northern border areas thus ensuring permanent insecurity for Syria to the north.

Arabs, Assyrians and Armenian will necessarily be ethnically cleansed from these zones to make way for these US-sanctioned settlements and it is common knowledge that the Kurdish Contras have been preparing for this for some time – banning the Syrian curriculum in schools and razing Arab houses in the area while forcing conscription onto local communities, running campaigns of kidnapping and detention.

Nuland informed coalition members in Marrakech that “Washington wanted to raise $ 350 million for these alleged “stabilisation” activities in north-east Syria during 2022. Iraq is also the target of the same “stabilisation” campaign. What Nuland really means is that Washington under cover of Ukraine will move to secure permanent violation of Syria’s territorial integrity while feigning outrage that Russia is violating the sovereignty of Ukraine already occupied by NATO and little more than Washington’s satellite vassal state on the border with its arch enemy Russia.

Syria claims the U.S. must be held accountable for its crimes and retreat from the country, after a recent Pentagon probe cleared its troops of a 2019 deadly attack on Syrian civilians.

The U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) decided not to hold anyone accountable for the 2019 airstrike in Baghuz, in Syria's eastern province of Deir Ezzor, which killed multiple civilians, including women and children.

The decision was revealed in a recent release of the results of its investigation on Tuesday. The reason claimed was that U.S. troops did not violate the laws of war, nor did they act negligently.

In reaction to the indicated report, Syria's permanent mission to the United Nations addressed the U.S. magazine Newsweek, asserting that "these biased investigations cannot deny the fact that a crime against humanity took place in Baghuz."

"Any justification provided by the U.S. Administration concerning not violating the law of war or the rules of engagement is dismissing the fact that U.S. forces deployed in Syria are illegal and launch military strikes, under the pretext of combating terrorism, without the approval or coordination of the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic," the mission's response said.

The mission called the U.S. report a "clear attempt to absolve the U.S. occupation forces in Syria of their direct responsibility for civilian casualties." It further considered the Pentagon's recommendations for clearer guidelines to prevent further civilian casualties as "an admission of negligence that demands accountability."

"It is time for the U.S. forces to immediately withdraw from the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, to hold them accountable for their crimes and to force them to compensate the victims," the response stressed.
